As the Cost Manager for the new Royal Adelaide Hospital, I am responsible for managing a team of Cost Planners / Quantity Surveyors working with the Design team to ensure the design is developed and delivered within the Project Budget. I also work closely with the Procurement, Construction and broader project team providing advice regarding cost, scope and other parameters.I am a member of the Senior Management Team for the Project providing strategic advice and guidance to the management group and leadership to the wider Project team.Being one of the few involved from the Bid phase through to the current phase of construction, I have a wealth of knowledge about the Project, the design and the Project's evolution. This has been critical in the moitoring and achieving of budgets due to my understanding of the history of their development.
