A large research institute needed assistance in scoping and creating a prototype for a portal to enhance the principal investigator’s ability to manage their research portfolio. Brad led a small team in conducting User Experience workshops, developing a cloud-based React web application environment, and establishing future state recommendations within the Enterprise.Led a team which architected, piloted, and launched a mobile sales channel for the animal health subsidiary of a pharmaceutical distributor. An ongoing eCommerce effort determined that a native mobile application would be needed to deliver a suitable customer experience for a subset of use cases. With Brad’s expertise the team adapted processes to more closely align with CI/CD and other various development best practices. The mobile application will increase order size, number of orders, and customer retention to grow the profitability of one of the distributors high margin business units.Led a team that implemented automation to a customer service process that would save over $2.5M annually for an online payment processing company with $200M in revenue. Facilitated technical discussions and planning between client engineers and consultants to help map and create system architecture and implementation decisions.

A global credit processing company had a need to migrate a system of un-stable on-premise servers to the more reliable offerings found in cloud architecture. Brad led and guided this initiative with a subject matter expert level of understanding of the target and legacy systems and helped the business to save millions of dollars by utilizing the stability AWS offered.As a development team lead, Brad architected a system for delivering messages to consumers via multiple channels for a global credit processing company. This system was highly configurable, portable, scalable, adhered to continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) best practices, and utilized cloud native principles. This system served as a resource for multiple teams within the business unit, proving to be integral in their delivery success.

As a development team member, Brad helped build a system for ingesting, processing, storing, and delivering a high volume of data to various customers. Using Java coding best practices, he gained a deep understanding of the Spring framework and it’s accompanying dependencies. He was able to teach others on his team how to properly use these principles maximizing his effectiveness through others. He led multiple information sessions, contributed to internal documentation, and constantly sought to spread his knowledge with others. This initiative led the global credit processing company to be able to realize over $100M in revenue from the 20M+ new customers.
