Early in my career I worked for the Department of Defense, first as an active duty Marine, then as a government contractor. I worked mostly in support of the Marine Corps's messaging systems. I worked on classified systems and was issued a secret clearance (now expired).In 2009 I moved to Thailand to attend university using the GI Bill. From 2014 to 2021 I worked as a web developer. During that time I worked primarily with Jekyll.More recently I've been working as a backend engineer (primarily with Ruby).DoD Directive 8570.1 Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II certified.
