Embedded C programing for evaluation boards

Program in C and Python on ARM based control processor for Evaluation Boards that showcase Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs). Control Integrated Circuits (ICs) on the board; regulators, clock generators, Small From-Factor Pluggable optical transceivers (SFPs), fan controllers, analog to digital converters (ADC) and digital to analog converters (DAC), all through I2C (Inter-Integrated Circuit), Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI), Universal Async Receiver Transmitter (UART), and Ethernet (when a Linux operating system is loaded).Program a Python based Graphical User Interface (GUI) for a user to interface with the controller to collect metrics, change voltages, adjust clock frequencies, and other settings (depending on the ICs on the board).

Develop high end tape storage products from conception to sale, including enhancements for older products, Past products developed, 9x40 Fast Access Tape Drives and T10000 Back Up Storage Tape Drives.

Architect, design, code, test, debug, maintain high end tape drive products: T10000 series.

Firmware Architect for high end StorageTek tape drives: Timberline (8/4480), 9x40. Firmware includes an RTOS. Design work:-Gather, refine requirements.-Produce use cases and scenarios. -Developed hardware/firmware interface for some subsystems. -Direct group of subsystem code developers.-Write, test, debug code for tape drive speed matching buffer.-Consult with other engineering disciplines for problem resolution and next generation design.
