Resident Engineer / Project Manager - Overseeing Construction Engineering Management projects throughout Utah.

Field Engineer to support the Resident Engineer on Federally Funded Utah Department of Transportation Construction Projects. Perform inspection, acceptance, documentation, and payments to satisfy state and federal specifications and guidelines. Manage the scope, schedule, and budget on UDOT project to ensure projects are completed within specification, on time, and under budget. Write and negotiate prices and time for change orders. I have spent time as an inspector and have all UDOT certification to accept work. I have a good understanding of how construction takes place which helps me to negotiate change orders and the prices associated with them. Projects include the following: I-80 State Street to 1300 East (inspected and tested all the finish grade along the project prior to paving), SR-273 (Kaysville-Performed all the testing and inspection as well as payment for entirety of the project), Pioneer Crossing (American Fork-Inspected/tested all the PCCP paving along length of project aprox. 200K Sq Yds, also tested/inspected two 400'x30' MSE walls), Bonanza Drive (Park City-managed a $1M force account), North Ogden Divide Safety Improvements (Weber County-Inspector/Field Engineer on entire project), Roy Trail (Roy- Inspector/Field Engineer on entire project). *Project Engineering Consultants

Manage scope, schedule, and budget on State and Federally funded roadway and bridge projects throughout the state of Utah. This includes assuring that the Contractor meets all UDOT standards and specification, coordination applicable testing and inspection, negotiating any change orders, and facilitating design changes per the field conditions.

I helped research, write, compile, and peer review several Traffic Impact Studies, Speed Studies, Feasibility Studies, and Pedestrian Studies. I have been involved in the design of intersections and roundabout's. I have WAQTC Certification to perform acceptance testing on construction projects. I also have all Civil Inspection certification with the Idaho Transportation Department. I helped through the planning and design stages of projects, all the way to bid openings, construction support, and inspection of those projects. My responsibilities include: surveying, traffic data collection, proposals, drafting, preliminary design thru final design, cost estimates, comment response, quantities, pavement design, etc. I have also been involved in water and waste water related projects. *Six Mile Engineering
