Manage innovation framework and strategy for critical cleaning product development within the semiconductor, data storage, and life science market segments. Support business unit, contamination control division, and corporate initiatives.

Managed development of all critical cleaning consumable products and process improvement projects. Served as primary global technical and applications contact with customers, OEMs, and other synergistic consumable/material suppliers. Managed the R&D laboratory, applications laboratory and all third-party collaborations.

Responsible for process engineering and manufacturing support of all wet processes (etch, clean, CMP, and backgrind). Led process equipment selection, area operational image development, consumable procurement, PPAP, and process development effort in support of new manufacturing line for 0.15um MCU and flash memory products. Provided technical direction and managerial support to junior process engineers.

Performed copper BEoL process development of advanced ULSI products for reliability improvement (SM/EM) including electroless CoW(P,B) capping and copper alloying technologies. Provided overseas support for Cu/Low-k CMP integration issues and process feasibility studies of disruptive BEoL technologies (eCMP, spin-etch, ALD, and cryogenic cleaning). Managed low cost, novel WCMP introduction, development, and process integration for 0.25um logic and flash memory products. Managed FeRAM product engineering and process introduction.

Semiconductor equipment development and applications engineering (CMP-Clean). 300mm scale-up, process integration, and customer support.

Product and process development of novel CMP system (Ontrak Systems). Supported customer process demonstrations and beta system qualification through process acceptance.
