Carson is a premier talent, marketing & communication coach serving as Brand Manager for Audacy Memphis Sports, including 92.9 FM ESPN (WMFS), one of the most significant sports stations in America. Carson's broadcasting career began in Illinois and St. Louis before stops in Las Vegas and Atlantic City prior to spending the past couple decades in Memphis, TN. Carson signed on WMFS and has been at the helm for over 15-years taking the station to the top of the ratings and revenue pack in the Memphis market. WMFS was nominated in 2018, 2021, & 2022 for the Marconi Award for Sports Station of the Year with stations from Boston and Philadelphia. In 2024 WMFS won the Tennessee Broadcaster Award for Sports Coverage. Carson has been listed by Barrett Sports Media as the Best Mid-Market Sports Programmer in America.Carson worked as Instructor at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas & in marketing for the inaugural races at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Carson has a BA in Organizational Communication from North Central College, Naperville, IL. & MA in Mass Communication from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
