Led a team of Business Analysts in the design, development and release of an in-house suite of applications used to manage and maintain Field Compliance for USDA, EPA and Product Stewardship trials. Designed and delivered best-in-industry compliance management system for use by field researches, academic collaborators and contract research organizations. Competent in translating business needs into workflows, technical documents and test scenarios used to update existing software or for launching new desktop and mobile applications. Managed a complex data migration project that successfully transferred millions of data points, including BPM instances, without unexpected interruption of business activities. Implemented a generic audit method and delivered a BusinessObjects® reporting solution, used by in support of regulatory submissions. Instrumental member of the product validation team that prepared performed IQ/OQ/PQ and documentation necessary for software releases. Worked closely with Field Compliance Specialists and IT individuals at the USDA to integrate and enable efficient submittal of compliance related data for hundreds of field trials to the USDA ePermits system.

Contributed to project successes through route optimization and multi gram synthesis of advanced intermediates. Given the “Green Chemistry Award” for identifying and implementing solutions for the recapture of small volumes of organic solvents used in parallel synthesis libraries. Chaired Laboratory Safety Committee and partnered with Environmental, Health and Safety colleagues to develop acceptable use guidelines and risk assessment criteria for laboratory functions/operations which aided in obtaining/maintaining both ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18000 certifications.Aided in the design of an internal chemistry focused electronic notebook (CeN) that is used at Research sites globally. Participated in requirements gathering sessions, bug fix prioritization and software launch.

Synthesis and route optimization of novel compounds for the treatment of schizophrenia. Instrumental in the discovery of PHA-709829 and other Alpha-7 nAChRs through discovery and chiral synthesis of (3R,5R)-1-azabicyclo[3.2.1]octane-3-amine.

Honed synthetic and analytical chemistry skills while preparing molecules indicated for HIV (peptidomimetics) and CNS (azapinoindole) disease areas. Developed and optimized the preclinical route to the PNU-142774 and worked closely with pharmaceutical sciences colleagues to identify the best of its pharmaceutically acceptable salts enabling clinical development.
