I am thrilled to serve and support students, parents, and staff at PSD Global Academy (PGA) and PSD Options. I serve as the Assistant Principal for PGA, a K-12 hybrid and blended learning school in which full-time students attend classes on campus two days a week and learn online with the support of learning coaches the remaining weekdays. In 2021 we added a virtual pathway so that students can attend fully online to support varied learning or family needs. I also manage and coordinate the PSD Options program for enrichment opportunities for families that home-school their children.

I also help manage and coordinate the PSD Options program for enrichment opportunities for families that home-school their children. As the Blended Learning Coordinator, I support efforts to gather data and grow blended learning efforts within PSD and strengthen blended learning at PGA.

In my role as an Educational Technology Facilitator and Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA), I provided high quality, ongoing job-embedded professional development for educators, staff and administration that resulted in increases in student achievement and growth. I partnered with educators to build capacity for successful integration of multiple technologies and effective instructional design to enhance student learning and engagement. My focus was at the secondary level and I had a support partnership with four of the 50 schools in the district. In addition to directly partnering with teachers and administration at these four schools, I supported educators and staff across the district, as well as central office departments including Curriculum Instruction and Assessment (CIA), Information Technology, Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), Integrated Services, Professional Development, Human Resources, Communications, and Mentoring & Induction.

I taught mathematics at Rocky Mountain High School for nine years. During that time, I taught in both integrated and traditional curricula, with courses including Integrated Math 1, Integrated Math 2, Integrated Math 3, Geometry, Algebra 2, Advanced Algebra and Trigonometry, and College Algebra. Students in my College Algebra class were able to earn college credit from the University of Colorado Denver.

I worked a contract employee for Pearson. I hired and trained staff to ensure policy compliance for PLACE (Program for Licensing Assessments for Colorado Educators) exam administration. I led my team in conducting the test administration from start to finish and troubleshooting problems that arose. I handled test material security and ensured a safe return of all materials to Pearson. The assessment was conducted at the Fort Collins testing site three times each calendar year, typically in March, June, and November.

I tutored students in various subject areas including math & science as well as ACT/SAT exam preparation and strategies for improvement.
