About Brad Barborak

I have 25+ years of Information Technology experience providing project management, system administration, business analysis, & technical support. I am strongly focused on Customer Service and improving my knowledge in all technology-related skills. Currently, I serve as an IT Project Manager for software implementations, upgrades, and advanced software support for multiple areas, including support for our Occupational Health department's EMR (Systoc) and our Lab (SoftLab LIS & Vantage slide tracking), I am also working towards certification in Epic Beaker to help implement and support our Lab's Epic initiatives. I have worked with and supported numerous Hospital Depts. in my current role including Cancer Services, Radiology, Wound Management, Lab, OB, the Sleep Center, Human Resources & Finance. I served as a liason between these Departments and Information Technology and managed technology growth and support for them.I am also working to create a non-profit organization that will focus on environmental protection in Southeast Ohio and possibly teaching sustainable homesteading, permaculture principles, and off-grid/lite grid living.I earned my BA in Anthropology with a strong focus in Archaeology, Anthropological Theory, and Modern Native American Culture in 1992 and am currently working to finish my Masters in Information Systems, Strategy and Technology from Muskingum University. (Capstone project).
