In 2014, I joined what was then SYSTAP to focus on developing commercial and open source software products to deliver high performance graph database and analytics. Starting in 2016, we've changed our name to Blazegraph to reflect the suite of technologies we've developed to help solve the challenges of graphs and predictive analytics at scale. In this role, I have an operational responsibility at Blazegraph many aspects of the business, finance, and contract areas. My technical focus in on finding the sweet spot for Blazegraph technologies within enterprise data ecosystems such as Hadoop to enable high performance graph systems for customers. I have supported both the Blazegraph(tm) database platform as well as the GPU-based Blazegraph GPU and DASL ("dazzle") products for high performance data-parallel graph analytics on the GPU.

At i_SW, I served as a System Architect, Vice President of the Advanced Research and Intelligence (ARI) operating division, and as the Chief Financial Officer (Jan 2013 - May 2014). I was responsible for next generation system architecture and the design of advanced technology prototype systems. I oversaw multiple advanced technology development programs ranging from research pilots to enterprise agency deployments. I served as the Lead Architect and Co-Program Manager for an Analytic Transformation initiative within the US Government. In this role, I had overall responsibility for the technical implementation of Pre-Phase A activities of the Special Interest Program. I worked closely with the Government Program Manager to successfully apply large-scale information correlation technologies along with advanced system architectures in an operational setting using map-reduce cloud computing infrastructure. Additionally, I served as the Lead Architect/Technical Lead for a Quick Reaction Capability (QRC) using map-reduce cloud computing infrastructure. In this capacity, I provided key support for the program’s design and execution to include the successful presentation of the program Preliminary Design Review (PDR), System Requirements Review (SRR), and Critical Design Review (CDR) as the system progresses towards its Initial Operating Capability (IOC). In this role, I worked in concert with the government technical leadership and mission stakeholders representing key system concepts and technical implementations to government Senior Executives.Previously, I served as the Lead Architect for a PL-5 accreditation One-Way Transfer system that provides a Corporate Service to users within the DoD. I led the development of this system and managed the successful PL-5 accreditation of this system.

At SAIC, I had a specialized focus on next generation system architecture and the design of advanced technology prototype systems. I held multiple roles as the lead Architecture and Program Manager for efforts within the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community. I led the System Architecture and unclassified Software Development work for the Research & Development Experimental Collaboration (RDEC) program. Additionally, I served as a Deputy Division Manager, directing multiple teams of software developers and system administrators.

At ContactDetails, I served as the CTO where I directed and was deeply involved in the technology development including Wireless 3G data technology applications and Java-based enterprise web services.

At Booz-Allen & Hamilton, Inc. I provided IT architectural strategy and advanced technology infusion to commercial and government clients. I provided advanced technology support to DARPA’s Project Genoa where I led the design and development of an architecture for Designing and Deploying Business Rules including the design and prototyping using Java™ and Jini™ to deploy software agents on system components. I led the successful proposal, “DAML for Services”, to the DARPA DAML Program proposing an approach to using DAML Markup to semantically describe web services.
