The Center is a membership based organization that operates as a national financial services think tank. We formed this group to allow for our members (CPAs-Tax Attorneys-Financial Planners and Insurance Professsionals) to remain independent without being alone. We engage the top financial minds in our space, and our members increase their efficency and proformance via resources they otherwise would not have access to.

The Doctors Academy serves the unique financial circumstances surrounding Physicians , Dentists and Surgical Center owner/operators. Between Greenbook and The DAE, I have conducted over 400 live private briefing workshops to over 12,000 Doctors. Creating tax efficiency and asset protection strategies allows for our medical professionals to achieve financial independence quicker and with less risk.

Coastal Financial Partners is a beautique Beverly Hills based high touch IMO, primarily focused on creating and implimenting business owner wealth accumulation and financial efficency strategies. My Two partners, Gary Schulte and Jerry Vanderzanden were my partners, and together we helped a lot of planners along the way, and we became like family with each other.

For years, when one of my financial planning clients would ask me about having anything to do with a restaurant investment, I would tell them no way! But, I had a vision and didn't always listen to my own advise. We built a 15,000 sq foot white tablecloth high end downtown steakhouse. I learned about how difficult running any business can be, and especially in this field. Lots of highs and lows- won several awards, witnessed important milestones first hand, became close with a wonderful staff, got to play in the kitchen when we were closed, and daily worry about so many things outside my control including weather-mad cow-competition-the economy. It's a business that you are only as good as you were last night, and I have a deep appreciation for restaurant /bar owners that have longevity and success. Great part of this adventure is that all three of my sons and our daughter all worked at the restaurant, and that was priceless for my wife and me.

In this role, I travelled the country and conducted over 350 private briefing workshops for the doctor market. The workshops focused on asset protection, tax efficencies, establishment of planning protocols and creation of an accumulation and distribution strategy.

Started with Foresters as an 18 yr old life agent while attending, but not paying much attention to college. Did a lot of cold calling to get in front of young families and ultimately sitting around their kitchen table. A couple of months on the job, a 25 yr old single mother I enrolled a week prior died in a car accident two blocks from home. I will never forget Mary M, and am so thankful that her two children did not have to be split up to be raised. I became a supervisor at 20, an assistant manager at 22, and district manager at 24, and became a VP at 30. The business decision was made to house all executives in Toronto, and I didnt want to move my family to Canada, so I accepted a very gracious exit package.

My favorite Uncle bought a distribution franchise for this spice product that would be sold to grocery stores and meat markets. He quickly realized that the cases of products sitting in his garage did not do a good job of selling themselves, so he hired me to sell the product . The product helped the grocer sell more burger by converting this profitable meat into either chili, summer sausage or salami. Each case wholesaled for $54, and I could get fit 34 cases in my Buick Regal. I was paid $17 dollars commission for each case. I started selling around Grand Rapids when I wasn't in my freshman hs classes or at practice. Sales took off, and I began to expand sales north and south of Grand Rapids. It usually took a day or two to sell my inventory. I would return to GR and get my $578 and head back out for the weekend to open up new territory. I did this all thru highschool, eventually selling 225 grocery stores and 115 meat markets. The parent company eventually cut me out and went direct to the stores. It was the best part time job ever!
