Brad Blais is the Vice President and Market Leader at Mead & Hunt. Brad leads the firm to serve client needs in wastewater, potable water, reclaimed water, stormwater, public facilities, transportation, facilities planning, construction services, subsurface utility engineering, and grant acquisition & administration. Brad has planned, designed and supervised construction of hundreds of water resource related and general civil projects. The projects cover a broad range of categories from small water distribution to multi-million dollar advanced wastewater treatment facilities. He has authored utility master plans, rate studies, bond reports and regional water supply planning documents. He is actively involved with American Water Works Association, Water Environment Federation and the Florida Water Resources Conference and has authored technical publications and presented papers at the State and National conferences.Mead & Hunt provides professional services in architecture, engineering, environmental, planning, and historic preservation to diverse markets including dams and hydropower, food and beverage processing, military, municipal infrastructure, renewable energy, transportation (aviation, highways and bridges) and water resources throughout the United States.Mead & Hunt's Port Orange team continues to have a strong public agency client base throughout central Florida. This team pioneered wastewater treatment and reclaimed water technology, and currently provides public facility and utility design, contract administration, construction inspection, and funding and grant services. QLH merged with Mead & Hunt in 2017. QLH was a well-established water resources consulting firm that began in the municipal engineering sector during the 1960s.
