Director Of LoyaltyIntu Apr 2018 - Dec 2019London, Gbintu have 14 shopping centres in the UK and receive a huge 400m visits per year.I am delighted to announce that after pitching to intu in May 2017 to create a customer loyalty scheme for within their physical shopping centres, I joined as Director of Loyalty in April 2018. This is very much an "intrepeneur" role (being an entrepeneur in-house).A truly innovative product (a world-first for shopping centres), intu Pocket launched in July 2019. It utilises card-linked technology to enable customers to earn cashback when they shop at participating retailers, within intu shopping centres.intu Pocket is app-based and free for customers to download and use.I created the P&L, along with a 3 year plan - enabling intu to break-even after 18 months, as well as to gather anonymised shopping data (on a transactional level) from their customers - data that will be crucial for intu to understand their customers and to evolve the business based on their behaviours.The back-end technology was originally built by me - and I have now provided intu with a license. It's a state-of-the-art fully automated platform which processes customer data, transactions, payments, reporting and invoicing.I'm also responsible for the full product development, design, marketing and business development - including signing up over 150 stores - McDonald's, MAC Cosmetics, Superdry, Five Guys and more - to provide card-linked offers (CLO). I am essentially intu Pocket!Cashback is automatically earned by linking your existing debit/credit card(s) within the app and then making purchases with your card(s) as you normally would. You can then withdraw cashback earned via a bank transfer. -

During this time, it became apparent that Quidco had recently launched a new product within business development and coincidently, this product was something that I had introduced to ORS Global 2-3 years prior, which was very successful.Quidco then offered me a consultancy role to assess the product, improve it and ultimately, aid in it's success by creating partnerships with retailers.Within the first 6 weeks of the consultancy, I brought in over 30 signed contracts (including Thorntons, Euro Car Parts, etc) and issued an additional 30.
