Responsible for all development and technical operations for Infor's iProcure Product Offering– an online marketplace for part and supplies. Duties include designing new enhancements, managing development resources, managing network infrastructure and administration, assuring product is documented and localized in 6 languages, planning and coordinating product releases, patches, and implementations. I work closely with all levels of management, sales, and customers to maintain a top quality product that meets or exceeds customer expectations.

• Functioned as Project Leader and Lead Analyst for a large-scale effort to upgrade manufacturing, work-in-process, and costing systems for a large sweater manufacturing facility in Quebradillas, Puerto Rico. Responsible for managing contractors and staff, identifying and assigning tasks, monitoring project progress, resolving issues, and programming complex systems. Also responsible for implementing one of the upgraded systems, a cost variance analysis system, at another manufacturing facility in Chilhowie, Virginia. • Designed and developed Purchasing and Material Requirements Planning applications for a Hosiery Manufacturing Facility which helped reduce inventory levels and improve customer service.• Selected and implemented a Medical Practice information system to automate patient scheduling, billing, financial and management reporting, and controlled substance inventory management. Worked closely with software vendor to improve functions and features of their software product. Trained users and resolved major issues before implementation.• Managed the implementation phase of a manufacturing planning system for this company’s largest manufacturing facility. Helped steer this troubled project toward a successful implementation. Assessed project status by identifying priorities and key issues through system reviews and meetings with top management. Formally managed software vendor and in-house programming staff. Established a realistic project timeline based on defined tasks. Introduced a formal weekly project review process with key users and management.

Systems Manager - Manufacturing • Lead large-scale strategic effort to redesign all major manufacturing systems to improve maintainability and add functionality and flexibility. Coordinated design efforts with management, users, and technical staff. Identified and resolved major design and technical issues. Delivered several high quality presentations to top management. Established long-term project plans and implementation schedules and delivered monthly status reports. Managed programming staff and performed staff performance evaluations. • Managed development and maintenance for all manufacturing, customer service, purchasing, and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems. Responsible for analyzing user requests, assigning priorities, designing new systems, and managing/developing programming staff. Designed and managed the development of a machine capacity scheduling system that reduced bottlenecks in the manufacturing process and enhanced the accuracy of delivery dates quoted to customers. Managed a large-scale implementation for a new acquisition. Implementation was completed in 4 weeks.

Developed System Test Plan for a large-scale implementation of Purchasing and Accounts Payable systems for the Tennessee Valley Authority. Identified many design flaws before system development was complete resulting in substantial timesavings. Implemented systems and procedures to track test problems. Test plan identified over 500 system problems and helped assure a successful implementation.* Designed, developed, and implemented major enhancements to a Travel Agency accounting system for Delta Airlines. Utilized CASE Tool to perform analysis/design tasks of the project. Lead the design and development of all Accounts Payable software enhancements. Directed activities of system test team after developing a comprehensive system test plan. Served on Alpha and Beta implementation teams for the new product. Produced 32 volumes of technical documentation with the aid of a CASE tool and automated documentation tool.* Developed a reporting system for the corporate legal department of W.R. Grace, Inc. using relational database and 4GL technology.* Assisted in marketing efforts by cold calling prospective clients. Identified several leads through professional networking efforts. Followed up on leads by meeting with clients and identifying client’s needs for consulting services. Wrote the related proposals to provide consulting services. Also, assisted in the development of many large proposals for multi-million dollar consulting engagements.

Served as technical consultant to the Medicaid Commission for the State of Michigan. Identified current Medicaid system deficiencies through client interviews and an analysis of the current system. Documented findings in design deliverable detailing requirements for proposed enhancements.* Assumed total responsibility for the enhancement and implementation of Medicaid systems for the state of New York and Arkansas. Assisted in the implementation and maintenance of Medicaid systems for 8 other states. These implementations involved extensive complex programming. Responsibilities included the execution and monitoring of large production jobs as well as trouble shooting and correcting system problems.* Developed Accounts Payable and Medical Records systems during large-scale development of a Hospital software package. Developed applications in both Patient Care and Financial areas. Wrote many complex programs involving medical record deficiency tracking, insurance proration, and invoice processing.
