I graduated from Clemson in 1984 with a BS in Industrial Management. I became intrigued with Information Technology, specifically software development, in my final years at Clemson. Upon graduation, I was hired by Electronic Data Systems (EDS) into their Systems Engineering Development program. I graduated from EDS’s Systems Engineering Devlopment program and spent 4 years with EDS in Dallas, Texas developing, maintaining, and implementing Hospital systems and Medicaid payment processing systems.I was hired by the Price Waterhouse Consulting in 1989 and spent 3 years working out of the Atlanta, Georgia office designing, developing, and implementing software on a number of different consulting engagements. At this point, I began to take on leadership roles by leading small to medium teams to achieve project objectives. I also became very proficient in IBM AS/400 technology.In January 1991, I was hired by Mount Vernon Mills, a large manufacturing company as a business analyst and went thru a series of promotions until I came to manage all their manufacturing systems. I was also asked to re-design their entire manufacturing software suite to add additional functionality, maintainability, and leverage.In January 2000, I was hired by Datastream Systems, Inc. (now Infor) as a Program Manager and was given the responsibility of Maintenance and Deployment Manager for Datastream 7i Buy (now Infor EAM iProcure), an online marketplace for parts and supplies. Currently, as Senior Software Engineer, I manage all technical operations for the Infor EAM Iprocure product, including development, maintenance, deployment, Network and Server Administration and Maintenance, assuring product is documented and localized in 4 languages, planning and coordinating product releases, patches, and implementations. I work closely with all levels of management, sales, and customers to maintain a top quality product that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
