Managed the integration of the Autopartstomorrow eBay store for Automotive Distributors, during the transfer of the ecommerce division of Johnson Industries. Worked with developers, executives, sales and distribution teams to ensure a smooth transition. Thereafter managed the training and transfer of operations to their in house team. At time of contract expiration, eBay store feedback rating was over 99.9%, with only one negative feedback during the previous 12 months on over 50,000 transactions.

From copywriting for the website, to creating and managing the business best practices for distribution of the sales produced. Implementation for eBay store with Paypal as well as Amazon store through Seller Central and Channel Advisor. Involved in the total process of creating and running the business. 3 million dollars in annual electronic sales averaging one hundred transactions daily.

Oversight and production of all electronic order processing interfaces for Johnson Industries. Nationally acclaimed dealership stock order replenishment program for ADP and Reynolds DMS systems. Managed a team of 7 full time associates processing electronic stock and emergency orders from GM and Ford dealerships across the country. Consulted with other regional distribution centers and managed the process for their locations as well. Full setup, administration and support for Teamji.com and Nexpart.com.

Johnson Industries was the early automotive industry leader in auto parts e-commerce development. Worked on several projects to help grow order processing from no e-commerce to over 70% auto printed directly to warehouse in less than 8 years. Worked closely with internal team to move several early stage projects from idea into full profitable production. We developed a hands free electronic replenishment program that was utilized by GM dealerships nationwide to automatically generate and ship daily stock orders. Worked with Epicor/Activant and Wrenchead to develop a B2B web catalog and ordering process, then trained staff, sales and customers in how to best implement the program. Traveled nationwide as sales ecommerce support / closer for our automated stock order process.

Scheduled daily stock orders pulled electronically via a modem interface. Oversight and responsibility to make sure every order was pulled, adjusted and then updated back into the customer’s DMS system.ADP and Reynolds and Reynolds dealerships in states across the country. Support for 12 regional auto parts warehouse distribution centers nationwide. Part of the transition team that implemented JD Edwards One World ERP package.

Inbound customer service calls and orders taken. Delivery and shipment issues researched and resolved. Warehouse problems addressed and solutions advised. Averaged over 100 calls processed daily. Worked as Mr. Johnson’s (the company owner) inside sales assistant.

Worked in a team environment with a top producing National Account Sales Executive. Daily order processes and issues related to customer shortages or issues resolved in a timely manner, so the senior sales agent could prospect and maintain relationships with National GM dealership parts managers.

Processed inbound AVO’s from GM Parts Distribution Centers, as well as other vendor stock orders. Pulled shipments from trucks, received auto parts into totes in the RF gun inventory management system. Placed parts onto shelves when already assigned, or slotted into appropriate area. Helped create a velocity slotting process whereby the fastest moving parts were slotted nearest the conveyor system. Parts that became slower moving were then moved to more remote locations during the overnight cycle count process.
