For many years I worked as a growth stage technology company leader and after a few successful exits I now do some consulting in between my full time travels with my wife. I have strong international market experience having lived and worked in Australia, China, United Kingdom, and United States with a proven track record of startup development, turn arounds, growth, capital raising, and a successful perpetual licensing to SaaS flip.I co-founded, developed, and sold TriBuild Construction Management software in a two year period. TriBuild is a SaaS based construction management software helping construction specialty contractors access project management software at a price point they expect with the functionality of the premium products. Acquired by industry leaders in specialty contractor estimating, McCormick Systems, who were subsequently acquired by Foundations Software.Prior to TriBuild I was the CEO of simPRO Software, a SaaS based field service and project management business. At simPRO I focused on delivering whole of business operational workflow gains to construction and service contractors. Our success in helping contractors manage and grow their businesses enabled the growth of simPRO from it's Brisbane Australia roots to operations in the US, UK, and NZ.During my tenure I delivered over 1,000% recurring revenue growth in 5 years and developed the global strategic model that took the team from 45 people to over 250 across 5 countries.simPRO exited to a Private Equity firm for $500m+ in 2020. Prior to simPRO, I founded mobility software startup Datateq, solving the productivity and compliance gap of field service and construction contractors in the pre-smart phone era. Datateq was acquired by simPRO as their initial tech solution to field mobility and reporting.
