'Coordinating the visitor experience' involves park planning for campgrounds, tracks, trails, natural landscapes and visitor facilities. It includes developing strategies for the development of a diverse range of portfolios such as all abilities access, boating infrastructure, asset maintenance and risk management. I have led project control groups to further significant projects and I also manage staff responsible for the asset and risk portfolio.'Historic heritage management' involves maintenance, renewal and conservation of landscapes, heritage infrastructure assets and cultural heritage. I have worked on jointly managed parks with traditional owners to preserve cultural heritage values as well as on European heritage projects in the region.I have been involved in budget development, seeking grant funding, staff recruitment, project management and many other tasks as part of the Regional Operations Team in the Northern Region of Parks Victoria. I have championed a number of projects including the Fraser development at Lake Eildon, infrastructure and safety improvements at Turpins Falls and the DCE/VEF project (visitor experience framework and digital content engagement). I am fortunate to have been able to contribute to many national and regional parks in various landscapes across Northern and Central Victoria including the River Red Gum landscape along the Murray River, the Goldfields landscapes in Castlemaine and Bendigo and the Mallee landscape of north west Victoria. My role includes coordinating projects across the 3 districts of Northern Victoria and assisting operational teams to keep Parks Vic parks 'Open, Safe and Clean'.I have acted as Manager of Regional Planning and have gained great experiences involving ELW (environment, land, water), Statutory Planning and Fire and Emergency portfolios. I have developed many strong relationships across the organisation and with other government agencies.
