About Brad De Abreu
I have a passion for volunteering and helping people and I am lucky enough to do this as job! My passion for this field comes through in everything I do. I have been working in the industry for around 10 years in many different countries in the world - Australia, New Zealand, South America, The UK & Spain. I've started from the bottom as an intern volunteer coordinator working for very small not for profit organisations with very little cash, to national programs in New Zealand and with multi million dollar charities in London. My most recent job was creating 2 volunteers roles from scratch including all polices procedures, recruitment, training and day to day management. All remotely during the global pandemic. I worked closely with government, businesses and other not for profits. I am passionate about developing strategies for the betterment of organisations, specifically in relation to social issues such as health care and education; as well as policy-making initiatives such as youth development, gender equality or cultural change.
