I’m an experienced Digital Product Design Lead (UX/UI/CX) and have led many teams and organisations throughout my career, now spanning 2 decades. I obtained a Multimedia Design Degree, graduating Cum Laude with Honours in 2009 from University of Johannesburg and have added several courses to my CV thereafter. Over the years I’ve produced many successful digital solutions for B2B, and B2C clients from various industries and entertained 3 personal business ventures which sparked my interest in eCommerce, Marketing, Data Analytics and Product Design.Previously, I lectured at top Universities and Private Colleges, Designed and developed Accenture’s intranets for events such as the World Economic Forum, was a Senior Account manager for Native VML holding 12 major clients in my portfolio, and I led the Digital Innovation & Marketing department for an Investment & Asset Management firm.I am currently the Competency Lead for Experience Innovation in Cape Town, South Africa facilitating hiring and team growth, sales opportunities, Design Ops, skills development and business strategy for multiple teams and team members in the region.Throughout my career I have continued to exceed expectations in each role – I enjoy the challenge immensely. I’ve got a well-rounded knowledge base to both strategies optimal workflows for my teams and create sophisticated client-centred solutions which enable meaningful change for both client and business.I've found much success in the banking sector as a Senior Product Design Lead and in 2021 was elevated to Design Team Chapter Lead at Nedbank. I’ve crafted solutions for both Retail & Corporate Investment Banking divisions for several years. Over the period, I was privileged to grown and lead 13 UI/UX design squads and although an external consultant, I was invited to join Nedbank’s Design Leadership team to strategize their future positioning in market.I have received several Award Nominations and been published in globally recognized white papers too.If you'd like to connect, please pop me a message.
