Employee of Marine Survey Division at Fugro GeoSurveys Inc. Operated several marine survey systems (multibeam, sidescan, etc.) on various platforms (ROVs, large and small vessels). Involved in full project workflow from system mobilization and interfacing with navigation hardware and software to acquisition, quality control, online processing, demobilization, post processing and reporting. Major projects included: Lead developer on moving iceberg keel surveying project, including data acquisition, software development, statistical analysis, reporting; ROV pipeline surveys; multibeam route surveys; geodetic data processing and; dimensional control.

Conducted hydrographic surveys onboard the GGE Ocean Mapping Group's vessel in Squamish, BC and onboard the CCGS Amundsen in the Canadian Arctic (Northwest Passage, Beaufort Sea). Responsible for operating several multi-beam, single-beam and sub-bottom systems and supporting hardware and software. Key responsibilities were data collection, online and post-processing of hydrographic and navigation data. Worked daily with multibeam, backscatter and sub-bottom data. Regularly used Kongsberg SIS, Swathed, Linux, CARIS HIPs and Alderbaran software.
