Most recently in the roles of principal engineer and process engineering manager at Stainless Designs in Victoria.Successfully managed major projects with oversight from concept through to completion and handover to client.Detailed technical experience including separation, standardisation, pasteurisation, evaporation, protein extraction, waste treatment, odour scrubbing, clean in place and other hygienic processes.Many years of experience in client relationship management, process design, mechanical layout, installation supervision, contractor management, continuous improvement and process commissioning provide for a comprehensive understanding of overall client and project needs. Strengths in problem-solving, root cause analysis, process improvement and optimisation.Hands-on approach to all aspects of the project life cycle from business case development, client liaison, opportunity and tendering through to Project and Program Delivery.With a thirst for learning and a desire to further develop my business management skills, in 2017 I developed a business case for a new brewery and distillery facility in Rowville. Over the course of two years, I undertook a process to start the business including facility design, ensuring regulatory compliance with health, planning, building, liquor licensing, excise and trade waste permits. I adopted a very hands-on role to undertake much of the building works, commissioning the facility and in 2019 opened the taproom to the public.This journey has exposed me to all facets of managing a business and production facility including up to 15 production and hospitality team members.With the facility now built and upgraded multiple times as well as under management for the day-to-day activities via SOP's created specifically for our activities, my role these days is more strategic and in line with that of operations manager. I manage the high-level business operations, production, continuous improvement and business development. This has been a very rewarding process where my "learn by doing" mentality has served me well.
