To begin with, I feel I have an excellent pedigree in regards to personal one-to-one and business communication. Solving problems in a dignified and accurate manner is one my true strengths. Even more valuable to your company is the skills and education I possess in regards to general analysis. Having recently graduated with a Bachelor's in Mathematics from Bradley University (graduated May 2016), I emphasized on statistical analysis which gives me in depth knowledge into the semantics into linear regression modeling (single and multi-variable), hypothesis testing, time series, an numerous other statistical evaluation techniques. Along with this comes experience with SPSS, R statistical programming language, and SQL, many of which are self-taught. However, I realize the importance of the business environment which is why I have leveraged my mathematics degree with a minor in Business Administration. Along with this and my previous job history comes a good understanding of the internal workings and procedures involved in business processes. In my opinion, however, perhaps one of the most telling attributes of my skill profile comes from my mathematics senior project. In brief, I performed a Markov Chain Analysis on pitching patterns in major league baseball. For this project, I worked with a team of Computer Science graduate students in order to find structure and trends within an individual pitcher's tendencies. This involved teaching myself SQL and create custom queries to filter, sift, and order the data so I could mine the needed information. Heavy use of Excel was also present in this work. I am confident that my attention to detail, communication experience, and thirst for knowledge gives me excellent potential for the business world.
