At CarMax I work full time as a Vehicle Condition Assessor (VCA). As a VCA I collect, record, and communicate vehicle information to assist our buyers in putting the best value on a customer’s car. To accomplish my duties, I needed to develop strong functional expertise to maximize profit for CarMax, becoming timely and accurate in assessing customer vehicles. Additionally, I continue to develop this expertise, using my knowledge to help train new VCA's in becoming exceptional at their role. At CarMax I have had two major accomplishments to date. First, I have been in charge of developing CarMax's new initiative for purchasing and receiving other dealerships vehicles. Secondly, I was recognized as the Store Champion in March 2022, an award given out yearly to an employee in each department. From January to August of 2019, I worked as a cashier and a team member of Martins Direct at Martins Foods Store. As a cashier I prided myself on providing the highest quality service possible. As a Martins Direct team member, I adapted to learn the role quickly. Working together with my peers to fulfill online orders to the satisfaction of customers. At times I was asked to take on a leadership role, taking on roles of managerial positions when their presence was needed elsewhere.
