I am a Junior in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville working towards a degree in Business Analytics. I am a strategic and detail-oriented person who notices the little things that make a difference. While my acute ability to pay attention is one of my strengths, my greatest two are my people skills and open-mindedness. I am currently working in a shipping and receiving position at the Knoxville international trading company Key Industries which brings all these skills into one place. I have been praised for my ability and attention to detail in my position and often asked to train new employees in my position. Some of my business interests include sports analytics and management, understanding business decisions from an analytical, data-driven perspective, and understanding how to help organizations grow and thrive in competitive markets through optimization and educated decision-making. My experience in leadership, statistics, and communication has prepared me to pursue a career in business. For example, I have spent many years of my life playing baseball where I always tend to find myself in a leadership role, motivating my team to work when it may not seem required and guiding us to success. My career goal after college is to find a place that I can invest myself in. I want to find somewhere that can foster my passion for growth and change. As an individual, I am always on a mission of self-improvement, and it is one of my true passions. What other purpose is there to life than being better than you were yesterday? This is the mentality I want to foster in my career, not only improving myself, but all of those around me wherever I go.
