My name is Braden Collier, I am nineteen years old and I am from Bay d'Espoir Newfoundland Canada. At this current moment I am pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce degree at Memorial university. I am in my second year of the program. I am going to finish my degree with a focus in accounting. I am currently enrolled in the Co-op version of my program which means that I will have one year of guaranteed work experience before I graduate. I plan on getting a part time job next semester to bolster my resume and to help pay my student loans. In the future I hope to be a Chartered Professional Accountant.In the past two years I have worked two summer student jobs at the Bay d'Espoir Hydro generating plant, one being from May to June and one being from July to August. During these months I was apart of the general maintenance division. We helped maintain the power plant and the complex dam system. Some tasks include checking water levels around the dams, mowing lawns, cleaning company vehicles, painting turbines and cleaning the facilities.I am a dedicated individual who has accomplished many things over my years. I have won provincial tournaments playing badminton, I have upheld a ninety plus average every year of high school and graduated with honours. I was also in cadets for a two to three years and competed and won events in orienteering and biathlon. These events take intelligence and determination in order to have success.
