As Founder and Owner of Appsmiths LLC, I’ve embraced the journey of a self-taught iOS developer, creating apps that blend innovation with practicality. My projects include Rash ID, a pioneering skin condition identifier, PLNR, a task management tool that merges analog and digital planning in a unique way, and the Today app, a simplified approach to planning that focuses on intentional productivity for a fulfilling life. Each app has been in stepping stone in my journey to create wonderful user experiences that enrich the lives of our users.As Founder of Appsmiths I have: • Successfully launched and managed Appsmiths LLC, driving the development and release of four distinct iOS apps on the Apple App Store.• Developed Rash ID, a dermatology app with over 20,000 downloads, using advanced image recognition technologies powered by Pytorch and CoreML.• Secured a feature as 'App of the Day' on MyAppFree, increasing visibility and user acquisition.• Developed the Today app focusing on seamless integration of multiple productivity tools, employing SwiftUI for front-end development and Supabase for backend with a custom offline first solution using GRDB.• Conceptualized and developed Dot Matrix Sprinter, a unique arcade-style game, further diversifying the portfolio and demonstrating versatility in app development

In my seven years at First Ridgeland Baptist Church, I journeyed from an eager tech assistant to a pivotal role in the church's technical and creative departments:Early Responsibilities: Started with basic technical support, quickly recognized for my innate ability to troubleshoot and resolve tech issues.Creative Tech Implementation: Progressed to more complex tasks like changing projector bulbs, setting up and fixing advanced tech equipment.Lighting and Sound Innovation:• Introduced the GrandMA 2 node system, elevating our event lighting to a professional level.• Designed memorable light shows, including a spotlight-following feature for Christmas Nativity processions.• Transitioned to Chief Audio Engineer, significantly enhancing live service audio quality with advanced equipment and software.• Managed sound for a variety of events, including services with live bands, choirs, and multiple vocalists.Project Management and Leadership:• Led numerous tech projects for events like Vacation Bible School and summer theater camps, involving prop building, custom light shows, and projection mapping.• Spearheaded the creation of innovative lighting effects using self-made "Brady Bulbs" and early pixel mapping techniques.• Coordinated and led a team of volunteers, cultivating a spirit of teamwork and innovation.Continuous Learning and Application: Each year brought new challenges and opportunities, leading to the development of unique technical solutions and creative displays, showcasing a blend of technical skill, creativity, and leadership.This role was instrumental in my growth, both professionally and personally, teaching me the value of innovation, problem-solving, and teamwork in technology and beyond.
