At the Mint Hill Chamber of Commerce, we believe in the power of partnerships and supporting local business. We have partnered with more than 250 local businesses to promote and collaborate with businesses to cultivate a growing and connected community. Together with our business partnerships, we strive to be the influential organization to showcase members and attract new businesses to stimulate future growth and prosperity.During my time at the chamber, I created a business start-up plan for future members looking to join our community. Additionally, I was given the tasks of writing news releases, organizing events, and building meaningful relationships with our members. A number of skills I gained would include client relations, communication, office etiquette, event organization, professional writing, critical thinking and plan development.I developed relationships with my co-workers, my boss, and members of the Mint Hill community. While working at the chamber, I was impressed by the organization of tasks that needed to be done each day. I learned to work in a productive manner and communicate in an effective manner with our members.
