As a historian, curator, and now Director of the Muse: Lake of the Woods Museum and Douglas Family Art Centre, I have dedicated my career to preserving and sharing Kenora's rich cultural heritage through exhibits and educational programming. With over 15 years of experience in the field, I have curated numerous exhibitions that showcase the unique stories and perspectives of my community. Now as Director I'm learning about the Art Gallery game. I'm leading two great institutions with a common purpose— to share arts and culture in Kenora. My expertise lies in developing meaningful experiences for visitors, whether they be students, families, or history enthusiasts. I am driven by my love for history and my belief in the power of museums to bring people together and foster a deeper understanding of our past.I am committed to ensuring that the stories and experiences of the past are accurately represented, inclusive, and accessible to all.
