As a new-grad in Civil Engineering at the University of Victoria, I am passionate about learning how to optimize construction practices and environmental systems to reduce our carbon footprint in new construction. I have completed four co-op terms in different sectors of the industry, gaining valuable skills and insights in project coordination, quality control, and team management.Most recently, I worked as a Project Coordinator at Bird Construction, where I supported the project team in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting activities for a large-scale correctional development. I also assisted in liaising with clients, contractors, and consultants, ensuring effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
