StudioSix5 hired me after tripling their size in only a few years. In this newly created position, I focused internally and externally to support the firm’s evolving business development goals. This included implementing a new CRM system to organize and track StudioSix5's growing client, pursuit and lead generation; laying the foundation to integrate a project database within that system; and educating staff on the skills needed for business development. Additionally, through research and active involvement in conferences, trade shows, and professional associations, I identified potential clients to drive sales.

Bogota, Colombia

In 2010, I fulfilled a lifelong dream to live and work abroad. After moving to Bogota, I began learning Spanish and networking with a wide cross-section of Colombians, many of whom worked with growing national and multinational companies. They shared their challenges of using English in their activities. Armed with this knowledge, I established myself as an independent consultant, offering an ever-expanding range of English language services to meet these communication demands. Through coaching, translating, and voice over recording, I helped companies and individuals win new work and effectively convey their brands in English.

Greater Seattle Area

When I joined Mithun, it was a regionally-known design firm. They wanted to design better quality projects, so I worked with the firm’s principals to create marketing plans and execute pursuit decisions based on the company’s values and expertise in sustainable design. Through this process, we gained more quality clients that enabled Mithun to design better projects. This in turn attracted higher quality designers to join the firm. Revenues doubled, and we elevated the firm’s stature nationally and internationally.
