As the Founder and CEO of Adreach Group, I've had the privilege of leading a company that specialises in outdoor advertising and integrated marketing. We've come a long way since our 1998 inception, and I'm proud to say that we're now a successful triple-bottom-line company and South Africa's No 1 enabler of SMMEs in the Out-of-Home market.I'm a strong believer in the power of big business to drive growth in SMMEs, which is why I've launched a number of initiatives under the Adreach Group banner that focus on corporate social development. These include WastePreneurs, a recycling initiative aimed at spurring job creation and improved living standards for waste pickers, and SCARC, the Soweto Canoe and Recreation Club. As an avid paddler and water sports enthusiast, I've used SCARC to uplift the youth of this historic township through the power of sport, and we've produced some of South Africa's top up-and-coming paddlers.In my view, sport leads to both a healthy body and mind, and brings communities together for the greater good. I believe that healthy, strong communities can better build a stronger country. Sport has played a prominent role throughout my life and I was honored to represent South Africa at the Denmark World Cup in 2002. More recently, I represented my country in the 2018 World Paddle Awards, claiming third place under the Soweto Canoe and Recreation Club RSA banner for the Foundation Award.I'm also the brainchild behind some of South Africa's most iconic markets, namely the Rosebank Rooftop Market in Johannesburg and the Blue Shed at the Waterfront in Cape Town.
