I have worked in a number of different fields ranging from Operations & Maintenance for a large military camp in Afghanistan to facilities management for a military training command in the US. I also have experience as a teacher, coach and personal trainer. Key responsibilities ranged from managing daily maintenance requests and minor projects to the development and execution of large multi-year master plans, Environmental Impact Studies (EIS) and Military Construction Projects (MILCONs). -Programmed, planned and executed various facilities projects, including the development of facilities master plans/ shore infrastructure plans (SIPs), Minor Construction Projects, Maintenance and Repair Projects, and MILCONs, including a $24 million Cold Weather Training Facility. -Developed and executed annual Base Operations Support (BOS) budget of approximately $10 M, including $5 M for Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization (SRM) capital projects. -Partnered with the Command’s Comptroller and lead Contracting Officer to monitor and execute facility projects in accordance with the DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting & Execution Process (PPBE). Successfully developed and submitted over $180 million worth of MILCON projects for Program Objective Memorandum (POM) ’14.-Served as department lead for developing and approving Site Approval Requests (SARs) and project estimates. Worked with NAVFAC, Army PWD, and USACE to ensure projects were developed and executed on time and to scope. -Monitored projects to ensure compliance with DFAR as well as OPNAV INST 11010.20G. Ensured project work was categorized appropriately and new construction financial thresholds were not broken.
