Developing ground control system for inaugural Student Unmanned Aerial Systems (SUAS) drone. Designed printed circuit boards (PCB) in KiCad, developing a path finding algorithm to dynamically navigate around flight area boundaries to the target drop zone with python, used optical character recognition (OCR) to convert image of coordinated to flight area boundaries, and set up local website to display pertinent telemetry data and map. Also assisted in team website redesign and sponsorship outreach.
