Brad Geer is an investment banker who currently serves as a Managing Director in Houlihan Lokey's financial restructuring group, where he advises official creditors committees in some of the highest-profile bankruptcy restructurings in the world. Mr. Geer has worked on numerous large engagements, including Lehman Brothers, Capmark Financial Group, Refco, Conseco, Polaroid, Chiquita, Laidlaw, NRG Energy, Las Vegas Monorail, Alamo National Rental Car, Imperial Sugar, Northwestern Corp., and American Commercial Lines. As a testament to his work in large restructuring transactions, Mr. Geer has been ranked as one of the most active investment bankers in the field. Prior to his time with Houlihan Lokey, Brad Geer was a Director with Poongsan Corporation in Seoul, South Korea. For seven years, he oversaw the company's foreign investment interests and became fluent in Korean. He also worked for one year as an Associate with the private equity fund Churchill Capital. Before launching his career, Brad Geer graduated cum laude from The Blake School in Minneapolis. He went on to earn his B.A. and M.A. in Economics from Stanford University in Palo Alto, California. Mr. Geer is active in the community and in 2005 helped create the Cancurables Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to raising money for cancer research and education. Mr. Geer supports other local charitable organizations, including the Angel Foundation, which provides financial assistance to families in need who are facing a cancer crisis. He also serves meals to the homeless each year at his church through Families Moving Forward. Mr. Geer provides assistance to children with disabilities through the PACER Center and supports children in crisis situations through Baby's Space.
