I am a tax partner at PwC where I enjoy translating technical tax issues into plain English, albeit with a bit of an accent. Taking a keen interest in the history, operations, and strategies of global organizations and high-net worth families is the way I have developed a solid foundation from which to serve clients. My clients appreciate the wide array of tax related issues that I can solve for them, including representing taxpayers involved in disputes with tax authorities, structuring acquisitions and reorganizations, accounting for income taxes, and managing their tax compliance burden. After beginning my career in Charlotte, I spent time in Washington DC and New York, before settling in Philadelphia. It was in Washington DC, while participating in the global leadership development program for PwC, that I advanced my global mindset; something that has even transcended into my personal life by hosting international students attending high school in the U.S. In New York, I focused on the private equity industry as a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions Tax group. While in Philadelphia, I worked exclusively with privately-held companies and their owners in several industries, including technology, agribusiness, mining, manufacturing, distribution and real estate. In 2016 I relocated to Raleigh, where I will continue to serve clients in similar industries.I am a Certified Public Accountant, member of the AICPA, and a past adjunct tax professor at Rider University in their Master of Accountancy program. During the weekends my family enjoys momentary glimpses of tranquility between the youth sport activities of three children.
