As a Senior Experience Designer, I was involved with many challenging design problems within enterprise business software. I had the pleasure of creating research driven design changes with companies like CompuCom, Examsoft, Paradigm Tax, E2Open, Southwest Airlines, TaxAct, and FedEx Office. All these companies had antiquated software and design that required first and foremost getting to understand the users and their pain points through various research methods. Several of these projects included an enterprise level design system that I was able to take the lead on to produce a successful adoption of a fully built design system that designers, developers, and other areas of the business could take full advantage of.Extra Circular Activities:Front End Code For DesignersIn addition to client projects I actively taught a front end coding class for designers to become more comfortable with code and enhance their understanding and vocabulary to better communicate with our dev team.Writing Club:I started a writing club that met once a month during lunch.
