Growing up milking cows and tapping maple trees in New England taught me about the essential connection between humans and nature. Now I invest in natural capital to fight biodiversity loss and climate change, and to strengthen rural communities.My career began in finance and operations at a quantitative hedge fund, where I’m proud of the teams I helped build. In addition to managing the firm’s rotational program for early-career hires, I also proposed the formation of a new Business Strategy team, then eventually hired three Directors to join me. Together we charted a thoughtful course through a period of rapid growth.Seeking to pivot toward investing in biodiversity and climate solutions, I earned my master’s of forestry at Yale and an MBA at Stanford.Now I’m putting finance to work for nature and people.
