At Steelcase, I was placed onto the Product Data Technology (PDT) team, who specialize in using SAP to work with the vast amount of data that Steelcase collects on the products it sells. I started off the summer not having a clue what I was doing, as I had zero prior experience working with SAP. PDT was extremely supportive of my learning of SAP and by the end of the summer, my fellow interns and I finished a project that will assist in the elimination of Steelcase's custom solution to generating custom instances during MRP processing, which will be necessary in order for the company to upgrade SAP. Our project is estimated to save analysts in the plants about 150-300 hours of labor.

fortissimo is an early stage startup that was created to help combat the homeless crisis while also linking people to healthy and affordable food. Whenever somebody orders food from fortissimo, a portion of their purchase goes towards those in need. I was brought on to help develop the application from the ground up. We started with basic wireframes to design the general look and feel the website would have. Once we knew how the website would look, we coded the website using ReactJS and was able to get the website up by the end of the summer.
