The best part of my work is caring for patients. Every day is new and exciting and I’ve been lucky to work alongside some of the greatest people I’ve ever known. My patients have helped me become a better person by having faith in me and trusting me to help them. They’ve taught me compassion.I also enjoy teaching and working with the younger generation of aspiring doctors. It’s a privilege and a responsibility. Students have a fresh perspective and can easily question the status quo. I’ve learned a lot from my students over the years.Medical innovation allows me to work on solutions to problems I see in my clinical practice. It’s a real joy for me to join with others to do this. It’s the best part. Silicon Valley is a terrific place to live and work with dedicated people from all over the world who come here to realize their dreams.My other interests include spending time with my wonderful wife and four grown children, wine tasting with friends, and playing guitar. My favorite place is the Northern California coast where I go to kick back and relax.
