I am the principal architect for a new order entry system for a kitchen cabinet door manufacturer. The project is built from scratch using Blazor and MS SQL Server.I am responsible for all aspects of development and architecture, including infrastructure, screen design, and development. Working closely with the client I am also responsible for maintaining requirements definitions and managing the QA effort.

I plan and implement the architecture for the Earned Value Management system published by ProboData. evDataPro is a sophisticated software package used for managing the financial progress of very large project, often in the hundreds of millions of dollars. My responsibilities include evaluating feature requests submitted by the product owner to estimate effort necessary to implement the request. Once a feature is accepted, I plan the architecture for how it will be implemented, managing the individual tasks, and assigning developers to those tasks. My duties also include implementation of features where appropriate, or managing other developers, and helping to trouble shoot client implementations.

I worked as the principle architect and team lead for the team migrating an old e-commerce system into a new generation of technology. I managed my own team of 10 and a client team of 15 to migrate the old system into the new one without any downtime. The project ended when all functionality of the old system was absorbed by the newly developed system.

I was responsible for web development for their website, and for migrating restaurants from an old version of the Squirrel management system to the new verison.

Responsible for the technical direction of a commercial software company selling Environmental Health software to state and local governments. Successfully guided the company through a major technology shift, introducing modern quality controls and architectural approaches for their enterprise application. Delivered results in all areas, specifically• Architected and developed new commercial product that complemented existing main product. • Helped improve customer service by improving communication between development and customer service departments. • Increased QA department productivity by modifying the development team workflow to eliminate delays.• Dramatically improved system quality by introducing automated testing technology. I was brought in on a project for Pepsi to develop the front end for a new ad campaign run by AKQA. I was responsible for development of all front end functionality. During this project I built a live Twitter scraper that would echo all tweets for Pepsi to the website, actively scrolling them as they appeared. This scraper utility also included a filter for unflattering tweets, and a volume regulator to queue up tweets and release in a more measured pace.

Our team developed an application for a local government that allowed health inspectors to visit restaurants, swimming pools, and other public places to make health inspections. I was responsible for development of required functionality as described in the user stories provided by the business, as well as required database modifications.

Our team developed an application to manage vendors and all other data for a large travel aggregation company. The customer specialized in high end travel to exotic locations, and required an application to manage the thousands of vendors for the different destinations. We converted an existing application to a more advanced architecture that could support the large number of potential simultaneous users. My responsibilities were to develop code as required by the customer to support required functionality.

I was brought in to help fix and maintain a website for Kashi. This site was a new marketing effort being created by the EVB agency, and its purpose was to build a user community around the Kashi brand. I was asked to assist in meeting the deadlines and functionality requirements. I worked with their internal team to satisfy the functionality list and launch the new site on time.I was subsequently retained to work on the Adidas Basketball site whose purpose was to build a community around the brand. I worked with EVB’s in house Flash team to implement a user experience involving extensive use live-action video (a specialty of EVB). I also managed the piece of the project to build the supporting data services to allow users to login and register with the site.
