Logan Finance Corporation was established in 1949 by Max Logan in Blytheville AR. After WWII, Max was selling real estate and working at a bank in Blytheville. He quit the bank to devote all his time selling homes. In 1949 he started building homes, mainly for veterans coming home from the war. At that time the only home loans available were from banks and they required a hefty down payment. Max read about the new G.I. bill and VA loans. That was the start of Logan Finance Corporation. Fannie Mae Seller/Servicer approval in 1983, Direct Endorsement from HUD came in 1986, and USDA approval in 1998. After graduating from the University of Arkansas in 1964 John Logan enlisted in the Army and the Army reserve. He spent 3 years selling real estate in Little Rock before moving back to Blytheville in 1967. John Logan worked with his dad in real estate and Logan Finance for 20 years before he died in 1987.I had the privilege of meeting Mr. Logan and had discussions about business philosophies, Vision and Culture. Both Logan Finance and B.T. Kane Group Financial, Inc. made it through the 2008/2009 financial crisis with the same philosophy of lending to credit quality people with good credit and income verifications. Logan Finance Corporation had no defaults during this time and B.T. Kane Group Financial was in the Top 1% overall scorecard nationwide. Logan was purchased in 2020 by the Kane team. Change of control was approved by Fannie Mae in August 2020. Currently the company operates as a Fannie Mae Seller/Servicer. We have put together a new Executive Team which has created a new Mission, Vision and Core Values. The team is built of diversified backgrounds from industry experts in compliance, marketing, servicing, technology and strategy.

Founded Thompson Kane & Company, a residential mortgage banking firm. Raised over $2 million in capital, recruited many members of the team, and developed our business strategy.

Grew market presence in Wisconsin and avoided a sub-prime meltdown by focusing on an ethical sales team and a strong compliance policy. Built a Financial Service practice from scratch through aggressive prospecting and networking to over 300 clients. Increased sales volume year over year, cumulative over 1000% in 10 years. Developed marketing strategies which returned 11X's investment year after year. Initiated and developed a radio show called "Ask the Experts."
