Brad currently serves as a Managing Partner of E-merge Capital Partners, a venture capital fund focused on investing in early-stage medical device companies. He is also the Managing Partner at Evolve Medtech, a medical device development company and venture studio and the President and CEO of Cross Vascular, RetractOrtho, Vector Vascular and Boa Medical. He serves as a board advisor to Pathway Medtech, a medical device contract manufacturing company. Previously, he was the President and CEO of Traverse Vascular which was acquired by Teleflex in June 2022. Brad was a co-founder, investor and key advisor of SinglePass Transseptal Inc., which was acquired by Circa Scientific in December 2023. He has held senior management roles at Philips, Acutus Medical, InnerCool Therapies (now Zoll) and MicroTherapeutics (now Medtronic). Brad has experience across multiple medical specialties including all cardiovascular (interventional cardiology, neuro, peripheral and electrophysiology) and key surgical markets (neuro, vascular, orthopedic). He also has worked in the drug delivery and temperature management markets including establishing and managing an international randomized, multi-center clinical trial utilizing catheter-based mild hypothermia for the treatment of acute myocardial infarction (Chill-MI). He currently is an inventor on 12 issued patents with additional patents pending. Brad earned a BA in International Relations and MBA from the University of San Diego.
