Managed a team of 11-13 IT Development professionals who were responsible for supporting HP’s ambitious Global Supply Chain Transformation initiative. Provided ongoing leadership and direction in the development of a set of Transportation visibility, event management & reporting solutions used globally by HP employees and external partners. Worked closely with global business teams in defining supply chain events and alerts relative to an order’s lifecycle in order to provide actionable tasks and ultimately improve our ability to meet delivery commitments. Captured business requirements associated with the transportation planning and event management (i.e. track and trace space) space at HP. Responsible for the ongoing maintenance, support and development of a portfolio of Transportation Management, visibility and reporting solutions within HP.

Program Manager for Dell's new Global Sales and Operation Planning Initiative (S&OP). Responsible for the delivery of an integrated suite of planning and scheduling applications designed to support Dell's ever evolving business model. This project covers the areas of Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Factory Planning and Material planning and is being delivered by a large and dispersed global team.Program Manager for Dell’s Global Order Visibility solution. This Order Visibility initiative delivered a comprehensive, near real time, end to end view of order status across multiple regions. This project delivered a true “one stop shop” for providing order status information & allowed for proactive distressed order alerts through automated workflows. The project helped improve Dell’s ability to communicate a more accurate & timely order status to customers.Program Manager for Dell’s Global ODM (Contract Manufacturer) Order Planning solution. This Global Order Planning initiative helped to intelligently flow & prioritize orders destined to ODM partners. This was a global supply chain optimization project supported by business operations & sales teams located in Singapore, Singapore, Penang, Malaysia, Austin, TX and Shanghai, China with IT development activities performed in Bangalore, India. This was a large global initiative involving multiple world class software applications & one that I led from the project’s inception to final project delivery. Worked closely with ODM partners & suppliers in the maturation of EDI related information (EDI 850, 855, 856, 870, etc) in support of this initiative. Represented Dell as an elected Board Member of the i2 Directions User Group.

Managed a team of Product Managers who were responsible for collecting and prioritizing global requirements across the Manufacturing Planning and Execution Application space. Worked directly with our America, EMEA, and APJ business partners in defining requirements and priorities and then worked with IT to represent these constituents equitably.

 Engaged for nine years as a full time Supply Chain Planning Consultant to the 3M Corporation. One of the very early members of 3M’s Global Demand Management Information Technology department. This group was responsible for the successful design, development & advancement of a global set of Supply Chain Planning process and tools at 3M.  Led 3M’s Global Safety Stock & Inventory Optimization Project using internal & external tools.  Worked extensively with i2’s Factory Planner (starting in 1996) as well as i2’s Supply Chain Planner (starting in 1997), i2’s Demand Manager/Planner & Demand Fulfillment module (starting in 2001).  Owned the task of evaluating new i2 products as well as looking at how we could expand the functionality footprint to cover a wider range of business needs within the enterprise.

 Responsible for the successful implementation of i2’s Rhythm Factory Planner application at Bell Helicopter's largest Machine Center. Discovered, communicated & monitored the eventual resolution of issues found with the i2 Factory Planner product.

Senior Industrial Engineer supporting Bell's Fort Worth Manufacturing Operations. Responsible for the development and maintenance of Bell Factory Labor Base application that was used for enterprise wide Manpower forecasting and pricing.
