I am a passionate Cyber Security professional, who’s an avid enthusiast to learn new technologies and skills. I’m AWS Security Certified and studying towards achieving my CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification. I’m currently working in the financial services industry at Xero as a Security Engineer with in-depth experience in Incident Response, Security Operations, Detection and Automation Engineering, Threat Intelligence and Hunting.I have strong knowledge in identifying, implementing and improving security detective and preventive controls, processes and workflows through tools like Endpoint Detection Response (EDR), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Security Orchestration Automation and Response (SOAR). I also have a wide variety of other engineering related skills within the cloud service provider AWS, CI/CD tools and expertise working with Python.When I’m not working or studying, I love to cook, play video and board games and cruise around on a skateboard.
