Upon training in psychology, I've built a passion for mental health wellness practices and outreach counselling, specifically in at risk youth, domestic violence mediation and intervention. The goal is to increase life satisfaction such as, stress management, conflict resolution, anger management, correcting catastrophic thought processes, and helping alleviate general anxiety. My 3yrs experience includes: confidential client assessments for outreach programs, counselling clients with assorted mental health needs, helped coordinate kid power programs for children experiencing or have experienced domestic violence and was the program coordinator for a monitored exchange program that is the safe exchange of a child between parents. Provided guidance based on cognitive behavioral techniques to clients with anxiety, stress, and mental health concerns.
