Ensure compliance of corporate wide vendors for purchase orders, request for proposals, and other contracts. Administer and maintain Risk Management insurance compliances. Working alongside Risk Management department/team to assist in maintaining the insurance policy renewal schedules and insurance management information systems. Produce various analytical documents and reports to assist in maintaining effective working relationships with internal/external business partners.

Communication with the public regarding procedures, problems and coverages; investigates, evaluates, and settles claims. Analyzes claim situations for coverage by contract and report and reviews claims in regards to auto, homeowners, and medical.

While interning with US Assure I worked in multiple departments in the Builders Risk field of Insurance. My time was spent with the Marketing and Underwriting departments. While I was on the Marketing team I learned how to communicate effectively through internal meetings and also reaching out to external clients. I was able to better understand the company as a whole. The Underwriting team taught me how to mitigate risks; I learned how to avoid taking losses by having a risk adverse mindset. The US Assure internship helped grow my interest in the insurance field greatly and my time spent as an intern was valuable.
