I am a BPS Chartered and HCPC registered Practitioner Psychologist. I work with people in education and sport, helping them improve how they learn, think and perform under pressure. I am the director of InnerDrive. We specialise in illuminating and translating cognitive science research in order to enable people to further develop their evidence-informed practice. We pride ourselves on providing high-quality, practical, evidence-informed training that we tailor to your needs.Within education, I have worked with hundreds of schools and colleges all over the world. Within sport, I have worked mainly in football, with clients from Manchester United, Manchester City, Tottenham and Brighton & Hove Albion. Outside of football, I have worked with athletes who have medalled at London 2012, Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020. I am the co-author of the best-selling books ‘The Science of Learning’ (which has been translated into Korean, Chinese, Spanish and Dutch) and ‘Teaching & Learning Illuminated’. I have written regular blogs for The Guardian, as well featuring regularly for The Telegraph, the BBC and BT Sport.
