Construct, assemble, maintain, and repair stationary steam boilers and boiler house auxiliaries. Align structures or plate sections to assemble boiler frame tanks or vats, following blueprints. Work involves use of hand and power tools, plumb bobs, levels, wedges, dogs, or turnbuckles. Assist in testing assembled vessels. Direct cleaning of boilers and boiler furnaces. Inspect and repair boiler fittings, such as safety valves, regulators, automatic-control mechanisms, water columns, and auxiliary machines.

Responsible for performing residential standard home theaterinstallations associated with video installations and service(troubleshooting) to tap; routine multi-product disconnects (requestedand non-pay); inspection and installation/upgrade of residentialground/bond as needed; and signal leakage detection and repair, inaccordance with company procedures and practices. Completesinstallations of customer equipment in single and multiple familydwellings including pre-wired units; performs additional outletsinstalls, reconnects, and change of service; performs all installationsadhering to Company procedures and safe work practices, NEC and NESCrequirements, and local ordinances in order to provide services to thecustomer. Communicates with customers in a clear and straight forwardmanner and represents the company and its service philosophy to thecustomer. Functions with an increasing degree of proficiency and adecreasing degree of supervision with regard to those skills and tasksfor which training and instruction are received during tenure in thisposition.
