Optimized manufacturing of terahertz optical fibers, to be used for biosensing and early cancer detection. Resin 3-D prints were refined to manufacture very fine and fragile details of the optical fibers. This included extensive research of existing fiber designs, and material interactions with the terahertz region of the electromagnetic spectrum. Manufacturing limitations were compared with COMSOL simulations to optimize feasible designs.

Increased Efficiency and workplace safety by reevaluating workshop and storage spaces. Through conversations with the workers in the plumbing and HVAC Prefabrication spaces, Many issues were addressed. Storage solutions and logistics for transporting materials and finished assemblies were discussed in depth, and executed in a new floor plan. I measured the space and occupying machinery, and created precise 3D models using Autodesk Revit. Several potential plans were presented, and the final floor plan was executed. During the rearrangement, I worked as a project manager, and worked with consideration to the ongoing fabrication work.Aside from my main project, I also gained valuable experience in the construction industry. I worked with residential floor plans to coordinate plumbing floor to floor, read contracts, and assisted with deliveries and check ins at construction sites. I gained insight to the contractor-subcontractor relationship, and company operations.
